Sleeping Beauty 2021

Dear Teachers and Parents, 

We are excited to announce our summer ballet, Sleeping Beauty. All students who audition and fulfill contract requirements will receive a part. The age span is 3 to 19. There is a $25 audition fee to help with costuming, props and additional items. There are no other required costs. There are extra things you can purchase as fundraising items. Tickets for each show are also $25 per person.  We understand that summer is filled with vacations, camps, and summer school. We will do our best to work around student’s summer schedules. Students will need to be enrolled in a dance studio to participate. If your studio does not offer summer classes please call STCB, we will help you find summer classes. 

Auditions will be held at The Dance Pointe on April 17th & 18th, please see below for exact times. If you cannot make auditions please e-mail, we will schedule a private audition at another time. Please e-mail if you have any questions. Rehearsals will not start until the week of June 21st. All practices for the summer performance are done in the evening Monday thru Thursday. Parents must list schedule conflicts on audition forms and will have a choice of rehearsal days. Additional conflicts requested after audition may not be honored. 

Audition times are as follows:
April 17th  2pm-3pm Ages 3-7
April 17th  3pm-4pm Ages 8 and up, soft shoe dancers 

April 18th 2 -4pm Ages 11 and up on and off pointe
