In our hip-hop program, participants not only learn the latest dance trends but also delve into the cultural roots and history of hip-hop, gaining a deeper appreciation for the art form. The studio becomes a space where self-expression is encouraged, and dancers are empowered to infuse their own personality into the choreography. Our Core Foundation and Focus of This Program
Technical Mastery
with a focus on mastering fundamental positions, steps, and sequences. Dancers train rigorously to achieve precision in movements such as pliés, tendus, and développés.
Posture and Alignment
Emphasis is placed on maintaining proper posture and body alignment. Precise positioning of the head and arms to achieve the characteristic grace and elegance of the art form.
Costuming and Stage Presence

STCB Auditions – Frequently Asked Questions
Everyone! We cast all children who audition.
No experience is required. We welcome performers of all levels—from first-timers to seasoned dancers and singers.
Yes. All participants must be actively enrolled in a dance, vocal, or gymnastics program.
The only mandatory cost is our STCB enrollment fee. Additional optional costs may include tickets, merchandise, or costumes.
- The Nutcracker (Fall Ballet):
Saturdays & Sundays, 2:00–6:00 PM, from mid-September until the performance weekend. Spring Musical:
Saturdays, 2:00–6:00 PM
Sundays, 2:00–4:00 PM
January through AprilSummer Musical:
Mondays & Wednesdays, 7:30–9:30 PM, beginning mid-JuneSummer Ballet:
Monday–Friday evenings. Specific times are based on the role your child is cast in.
- Musicals:
Black rehearsal clothing and black jazz shoes Ballets:
Leotards and tights with ballet or pointe shoes, depending on the role.
